MarJoe Barnhart
Attorney
My name is MarJoe Barnhart, and I focus my practice on estate planning, probate, and guardianship, providing top-notch legal services in Hood County and surrounding areas. My practice is dedicated to providing families compassionate assistance during what are often the most emotionally challenging times of their lives. I’m a fierce advocate for the most vulnerable amongst us, with a passion for protecting and assisting the elderly and disabled. My desire is to assist families with the legal, financial and emotional challenges associated with advancing age, disabilities, or chronic illness, as well as helping clients plan for the future.
I received my bachelor’s degree from McMurry University in 1999 and graduated from Baylor Law School in 2004. Some of my proudest career accomplishments include restoring Wards’ rights and preventing unnecessary guardianships. I was honored to serve as a guardian to the legendary cowboy J.W. Stoker. This experience had a profound impact on my life and the way I practice law. My two children are my world, and wearing the badge of “Mom” is the achievement I’m most proud of.
